Phases I and II of the Buck Lake Road improvements were completed in 2007 and earlier this year, respectively. Phase III, which is between Davis Drive and Pedrick Road and connects the improvements already completed in Phases I and II, is now underway.

Infrastructure improvements will include the installation of turn lanes, sidewalks, bike lanes, and the enhancement of stormwater management systems. The completed project will improve traffic safety and reduce delays and congestion. It will also offer safe and convenient alternative transportation choices to citizens, as well as increased opportunities for exercise and wellness.

The overall project was designed using a Board-appointed Citizens’ Advisory Committee that sought community input and provided recommendations. Phase III has a contract time of 18 months but is anticipated to be completed sooner.
